I canceled the Dumb Ass this year based on a weather forecast that included wind gusting to 90 mph and an ice storm. Having 60+ runners on Tiger Mountain under those conditions is just not something I wanted to be 'irresponsible' for. Several Dumb Ass finishers from last year said they would run anyway. In the end, only 3 of us were out there on the day.

Sam, Brock and Bruce DQ-d themselves from the 50k by making a Dumb Ass (blame the RD, he has a thick skin) navigational error on their first lap. That is why those lap times are shown in red. Sam and Brock also happen to be the world record holders for the fastest Dumb Ass loop with their fifth loop of the day at 70 minutes!
Pigtails was DFL: she was the last person to leave the course which means she was the Dumb Ass who spent the most time out there - almost 9 hours.
