BD50K Ultramarathon
The "BIG Dabrowski" (BD50K) is a 50 kilometer point-to-point ultra marathon near Issaquah and about 20 minutes east from the city of Seattle. It starts on the east side of Tiger Mountain and finishes on the west side of Cougar Mountain. Traversing through what is referred to as the Issaquah Alps, the course kisses the tops of the Tiger, Squak and Cougar mountain complexes. The majority of tread is on single track forest trail and involves plenty of elevation gain and loss to ensure good value and an entertaining run. Start is at 8am on Sunday September 19th 2010

Tiger Dumb Ass 50k
The Dumb Ass race is permanently discontinued. It doesn't occur on the weekend of the shortest day of the year anymore. And it certainly doesn't occur on the same day as the Pigtails Flat Ass. There will be no course markings and no aid station. Hope to not see you there.
2008 Update: By Tuesday, the snow level was down to the parking lot but the trail is still super-runnable and not slick yet. It appears that wind on the K3 ridge is continuing to blow spindrift into the trail groove which is doing wonders for downhill traction.
